We are a boutique and independently owned finance broking firm, specialising in the provision of holistic lending advice to clients. We operate with extensive industry experience and have successfully created a strong brand as a result of the integrity and professionalism in which all relationships are managed.

Our business has seen significant growth over the years and as a result the need for an exceptional Loan Processor/Credit Analyst has arisen. This role will support the Directors & Mortgage Broker of the business, and see you heavily involved in the preparation, packaging and management of the end-to-end loan process. 

What we are looking for:

The right person will have the relevant experience to step into this environment and take ownership of the entire loan process. This means you will need to have a minimum of 3 years experience processing/packaging residential home loans in a mortgage broking firm and have used the software.

The company services a range of clients, however many of our clientele and loan structures are quite complex so it is essential that you have a sound understanding of self-employed clients and complex loan structures.

You will have strong residential lending experience and this may come from a credit analyst or senior loan processing background – essentially you must know how to structure deals and manage these through to settlement.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

The business requires an experienced, hard working person who can take complete ownership of this role. You will also thrive with extra duties around process improvement and marketing. This business is ambitious in terms of its growth plans.

  • Structuring loans, submitting applications and responsibility through to settlement of a client's loan in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collection of supporting documentation and packaging of deals
  • Processing loans through FLEX, infynity or Mercury
  • Liaising with clients, banks & legal professionals during the complete finance process
  • Database management and accurate information recording
  • Coordination with other departments within the company including Financial Planning & Real Estate, to provide better than expected solutions to clients enquiries
  • CRM database management & completion of all compliance requirements
  • Analysis of financial information & conducting serviceability calculations to make suitable lender recommendations
  • Working autonomously to manage a busy pipeline

  • Minimum of 3 years writing and structuring loans
  • Ability to work unsupervised; therefore you must be self-motivated and self-sufficient.
  • It is essential that you have excellent written and verbal communication skills and enjoy being a strong team player as well as working autonomously where required. Strong financial literacy is essential.
  • Previous experience processing loans in a broker environment
  • A strong background in credit assessment, plus the ability to think outside the box and mitigate credit decisions
  • Highly organised with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Lending policy knowledge to carry out accurate and timely assessment of new loan applications, demonstrating attention to detail and care
