The Decision Finance Senior Broker role is designed for someone looking to build a long-term career, working with like-minded people and quality clients. 


You will need to be a great communicator, hardworking, motivated and enthusiastic with exceptional attention to detail, excellent time management skills and the drive and curiosity to continue growing as a Senior Broker. 


This is an important role within our close-knit and process driven team. We have a structured team with efficiency and productivity being of utmost integrity to make sure we are delivering exceptional experiences for our customers. You will have the support of our Credit Analyst who does our product research, loan structuring and submission notes and our amazing administration team, which is second to none. 


You will be someone who loves to drive business and has the ability to rely on our incredible team to support you in every way. 


You will need to demonstrate:

  • Generating a healthy pipeline of your own leads and referral partners.
  • Provide industry leading finance advice and service to clients with their best interest at the forefront of your advice, in relation to loan products.
  • Problem solve, and workshop deals and solutions with fellow mortgage advisors.
  • Facilitate and efficiently manage clients, referral sources, the administration team; and all interested parties – so that client requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with increasing practice revenue through client education of additional services including business, financial, mortgage and property services, insurance and conveyancing
  • Provide a level of client experience, advice and service which exceeds client expectation, resulting in more referrals and growing the business’ reputation.


What you will need to succeed 

  • A minimum of 5-years experience as a broker writing loans of $20-30mil per year.
  • Residential, Commercial and Business loan experience.
  • Experience in a team environment and mentoring team members.
  • Experience with using Flex which is Australian Finance Group’s CRM system is highly regarded.
