About you

You’re an experienced Loan Administrator and know the process forwards and backwards. You’re looking for the next step in your career, a place where you can take complete ownership of the role. Having immaculate attention to detail or strong organisational skill is a given but more importantly, you know how to take the role to the next level. You’ve put systems in place and can always think three steps ahead on how to reduce unnecessary effort and increase efficiency so loan applications don’t slow down in the process. You understand the significance of leveraging your relationships with BDMs from the banks to get the ball rolling faster and jump the queue. Additionally, you have a proactive nature and have always offered a helping hand whenever you have a spare moment.

About the role

As an experienced Loan Administrator, you’ll be taking your expertise to the next level whilst supporting the owner. Through identifying and implementing processes and streamlining systems, you’ll be making some serious changes within this already successful business. Initially, you’ll be working flexible hours from Monday to Friday in Reservoir with an impending 6-month relocation to Glen Waverley. Some of your duties include:

  • Coordinating with the owner to put together loan files and finalise the final details of the fact finding process
  • Responding to customer enquiries about the status of their loan applications
  • Liaising with lenders, solicitors, real estate agents and customers to gather supporting documents to assist customers' loan applications
  • Leveraging your strong relationship skills to influencing processing timelines to ensure settlement dates are fulfilled
  • Uploading and processing applications on the online system
  • Checking the accuracy and validity of documentation, policy and legislation and finding any discrepancies in the information the owner provides
  • Delivering exceptional customer service throughout all your interactions with customers, lenders and beyond

Selection Criteria

  • Experience as a Loan Administrator
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and secure strong relationships
  • Demonstrated a systematically approach to managing the full lifecycle of loan applications
  • Passion and commitment to customer service and proven success in this area
  • Great with numbers and strong adherence and guidelines
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
