Full time Broker (Experienced) Para-Broker

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated candidate looking to work with an MPA Top 30 Broker in Australia (Marvin Coleman, Mortgage Choice Oakleigh).  Playing a crucial part in the loan process, you will have the opportunity to grow in this high performing business and develop your knowledge within the industry.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

In this Broker Analyst role, you will support our Broker by ensuring the seamless and timely assessment of residential property loan queries.  Following the broker’s first meeting with client, your focus will be on analysis of the client’s financial information and working with our broker to identify best lender and product options for the client’s needs and circumstances.  You will work with our Loan Processing team through loan submission. Our Loan Processing team then supports the application through approval to settlement.  You will handle a varied workload.

Your role starts following our Broker’s initial call with a client.  On receipt of collated documents from our Lending Operations Analyst, you will analyse the client’s financial information (involving review of income (80% PAYG; 20% self-employed), living expenses, assets and liabilities) to prepare for the Broker’s more detailed client meeting.

You will help develop and test loan scenarios and support the Broker with further analysis, including lender servicing calculators and identification of additional lender documentation requirements. Working with the broker and client, your aim is to find a way to deliver loan scenarios for our clients, under the ‘best interests’ duty framework.

You will work with assessors, BDMs, clients and our broker to find optimal solutions to deliver Lender Approval. You will communicate continuously with our team and keep our CRM (Salesforce) updated throughout. You are not involved in any post loan approval activities; our Loan Processing and Client Review teams do this.

If desired, the successful candidate can be developed over time to become a qualified broker in our business.
