Masari Financial is a Sydney based privately owned mortgage and finance brokerage business which has been operating for over 10 years now. We specialise in a range of financial solutions including the brokerage of home loans, commercials loans, asset finance, leasing, SMSF, private and development funding. Masari Financial is a holder of an Australian Credit Licence issued directly via ASIC and has access to a very large panel of lending partners.

The business has experienced exponential growth and is now seeking up to 4 new aspiring brokers to join our team. The successful canditates will be allocated as a credit represenatives of Masari Financial and will be operating via their own ABN under the Masari Financial trading name. You will be working hand in hand with the head broker in building on your existing network and growing your own client portfolio. You will work under the Masari Financial brand and gain access to a range of support features including a fully decked out modern office space, round the clock credit support, ongoing mentoring and coaching, an offshore adminstration/processing officer, access to our state of the art CRM, our custom made automated end to end application system and marketing.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong client management skills and a desire to grow and prosper in this very lucrative industry. The successful candidate will receive ongoing support and training to assist in the development of their career and will benefit from an array of warm business leads and opportunities thanks to our strong network of referral partners and sponsored marketing ads. It is also expected that the aspiring broker be proactive in seeking out new business and building their own network in a market where there is endless opportunity.


About you:

  • Minimum of 1 Year experience working in either banking, accounting, financial planning, real estate, or something similar. Experience working in a sales type role with a proven track record of closing sales opportunities will be viewed favourably
  • Certificate IV and Diploma of Mortgage Broking (this can be completed upon commencement of your position)
  • Tertiary/university qualification in business/commerce/finance will be viewed favourably but is not essential
  • Relevant Industry certifications (ie MFAA, AFCA, PI etc). This can be completed upon commencement of your position
  • Must be prepared to cold call potential referral partners such as real estate agents, accountants and financial planners in order to sign up new referrers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong numerical skills and the ability to assess and interpret financial data
  • A large network of potential clients (friends, family, work colleagues etc) would be a massive advantage
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn quickly
  • Be highly organised and motivated
  • Excellent phone manner with a strong sales etiquette. A strong ability to pre-qualify deals over the phone and establish rapport/credibility with any new prospects
  • Succesful candidate will need to source their own phone and laptop only. Everything else will be provided


The Role

The primary purpose of this position is to seek out new business and capitalise on our existing business opportunities. Upon successfully sourcing out a new lending opportunity, you would then pre-qualify the proposal with our large panel of lenders, prepare the loan application and ensure all of our compliance and regulatory obligations are met. You would need to prepare bank lodgements and manage the approvals, settlements and post-settlement process making it as smooth and easy as possible for the client. A good customer experience is imperative to our business and has been the key to our success.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clear, comprehensive and professional guidance and service to clients to help them achieve their financial goals.
  • Researching, presenting and lodging a range of loan applications.
  • Liaising with clients and lenders to ensure that loans are approved as efficiently as possible.
  • Ongoing loan management, from application through to loan settlement and beyond.
  • Following up on warm leads and contributing to the growth of new leads.
  • Adhering to compliance and audit requirements

  • Regular 1 on 1 training and guidance. Access to all Aggregator and lender PD days, workshops, online lender webinar and interstate conferences.
  • Referrals and lead opportunities will be provided but should not be solely relied on. You can expect at least 20 warm enquiries for new leads per month. Your ability to convert these comes down to how determined and driven you are. We can provide you a proven sales script to help you maximise your sales and conversions

You will spend less time on tedious tasks and more time chasing new business. This will be offered after you pass the initial probationary period.

  • Very minimal investment required from you upfront. You must keep in mind that this is a self employed opportunity meaning it takes time to build up your funnel and generate revenue. You need to prepared to investment your time with very little revenue during the initial phase.
  • The successful candidate can expect that their total OTE for year 1 to be at (but not limited to) $30,000pa - $90,000pa depending on how hard you work. OTE by year 2 should be over $120,000 with the ability to easily exceed $250,000pa by the 5th year for the right candidate. Earning potential is unlimited and governed by how strong the broker performs
