Job Description

Magnolia Wealth Strategies is seeking a Sales Recruiter to help grow its network of prospective Financial Advisors across an assigned market. This role blends talent sourcing with business development, focusing on consistent outbound activity, relationship-building, and disciplined pipeline management rather than traditional recruiting.

Based in Pensacola, FL and working onsite, you will own prospecting and candidate progress from initial outreach through clear next steps, using data to refine sourcing methods over time. The position offers a $60,000–$65,000 annual base salary plus an incentive opportunity tied to eligible hires and recruiting outcomes.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective Financial Advisors within your assigned market.
Prospect through direct outreach and multiple channels including databases, referrals, social media, job boards, networking, events, and community relationships.
Conduct personalized outbound outreach rather than relying primarily on inbound applicants.
Develop relationships with centers of influence, community partners, educational institutions, professionals, Advisors, and employees to generate referrals.
Lead discovery conversations to understand career goals, motivations, experience, business-development potential, coachability, resilience, and overall fit.
Follow up consistently and nurture candidates who may not be ready for an immediate career move.
Manage candidates through each recruiting stage while maintaining clear next steps and follow-up commitments.
Track prospecting activity, candidate stages, sourcing sources, follow-up dates, and pipeline results in the Agency Tracking System (ATS).
Use pipeline and conversion data to identify which sourcing strategies bring the strongest candidates and adjust outreach accordingly.
Partner with Branch Leaders, Advisors, Marketing, training leaders, licensing and onboarding teams, and Home Office recruiting resources.
Represent Magnolia professionally in the market by communicating the Financial Advisor opportunity, culture, development resources, and entrepreneurial career path.
Maintain organized, accurate, and current ATS and pipeline records and continuously improve outreach using results and market feedback.
Create new candidate conversations consistently to ensure a steady stream of qualified prospects.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in recruiting, sales, business development, talent sourcing, or another relationship-driven role.
Required: experience recruiting for commission-based sales professionals or personally working in a commission-based sales role.
Proven ability to prospect, conduct outbound outreach, generate conversations, and build relationships.
Comfort working in a measurable, goal-oriented environment focused on activity and pipeline results.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
Ability to ask thoughtful questions, uncover motivations, and determine fit with the opportunity.
Persistence and follow-through, including with prospects not immediately ready to move.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple candidates and opportunities at once.
Experience using CRM, ATS, or other pipeline-management technology.
Ability to use activity and conversion data to improve outcomes.
Experience recruiting or selling in financial services, insurance, wealth management, professional services, or an entrepreneurial sales environment is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Willingness to travel within the assigned market, including occasional events or scheduling outside standard business hours.
