The Business Operations & Finance Manager role at Morris Technology Partners (MTP) provides hands-on financial and administrative support to the President & CEO. This position focuses on core finance operations, accurate customer and vendor billing, reporting, and process improvement while serving as a trusted operational resource for leadership.

- Compensation: USD 85,000 - 100,000 per year

Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Maintain accurate and timely customer invoicing.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate collection efforts.
- Review vendor invoices for accuracy prior to payment.
- Manage the company credit card and complete expense reconciliation.
- Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
- Coordinate with outside accounting and tax professionals.
- Assist with month-end financial reporting and review financial information for accuracy, identifying discrepancies.
- Support budgeting by helping develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow reporting.
- Provide management visibility into receivables, payables, expenses, and other key financial metrics.
- Prepare and manage customer quotes and proposals, including obtaining and validating pricing from distributors and manufacturers.
- Coordinate purchasing for customer projects and internal requirements, including processing purchase orders and tracking orders through delivery.
- Coordinate vendor registrations, deal registrations, and special pricing.
- Maintain accurate cost, margin, and sales information; ensure approved quotes transition into purchasing and invoicing.
- Track project-related hardware, software, licensing, and professional services to support accurate billing.
- Identify discrepancies between quoted, purchased, delivered, and invoiced items, and manage recurring and project-based customer billing.
- Review recurring agreements for billing accuracy; track customer purchase orders and billing requirements.
- Coordinate contract renewals and recurring service changes.
- Work with operations and technical teams to ensure completed work is invoiced promptly and help identify missed or delayed billing opportunities.
- Maintain organized documentation supporting customer invoices and contracts, and develop administrative and financial workflows that reduce manual work and improve accuracy.
- Maintain organized vendor, customer, contract, and financial records.
- Assist management with operational reporting and analysis, and coordinate activities between sales, operations, accounting, vendors, and customers.
- Support employee onboarding and other administrative HR functions as needed, as well as employee communications, vendor communications, and customer communications.
- Provide executive support for priorities, including calendar and meeting coordination, preparing reports and meeting materials, following up on action items, organizing contracts and important business documentation, coordinating travel and meetings, and maintaining confidentiality for financial, employee, customer, and strategic company information.
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring important issues and commitments do not fall through the cracks.
- This position is intended to become a trusted operational resource to the CEO and management team rather than a traditional administrative role.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, business operations, or a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Experience with customer invoicing and financial reconciliation.
- Strong QuickBooks Online experience.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Comfortable working directly with senior leadership.

- Experience managing or improving financial and operational processes.
