With responsibility for leading, managing and strengthening all operational aspects of the business, the role has a strong focus on developing and maintaining best-practice systems and processes to ensure that all operational aspects of mortgage administration run smoothly and effectively.   Responsibilities include but are not limited to:   Manage the loan process from submission to settlement to ensure key milestones are set, monitored and achieved. Proactively reaching out to new and existing customers that may qualify for a home loan review, discussing options and scheduling them an appointment with the loan writers. Performing home loan health checks and targeted up selling/ cross selling campaigns. Processing loan applications and collecting supporting documents from clients to submit to the lender. Maintaining contact with the lender throughout the process, ensuring that the application is assessed in a timely manner. Liaising with clients, updating them on the progress of their application and proactively following up any further documentation required. Managing clients with in our CRM system. Checking the accuracy and validity of documentation, policy and legislation and finding any discrepancies in the information the owner provides. Developing a thorough understanding of loan products, lender policies and loan structuring. Responding to all daily phone and email inquiries generated from customers, our business units, internet sites and web-based queries. Managing post settlement enquiries and resolving customer issues. Delivering exceptional customer service throughout all your interactions with customers, lenders and beyond. As always, any further duties allowing you to enhance the success of the business. Our ideal candidate:   Minimum 2 years’ experience in the mortgage broking or home lending industry with a sound knowledge of finance products, service calculators and the application process. Understanding of loan structuring and an ability to explain loan structures to a client. Ability to read financials. Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking) is desirable but not essential as we will pay for the training for the right candidate. Great organization skills with the ability to prioritize your workload and maintain attention to accuracy. Excellent communication skills on the phone and in person. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with pressing deadlines.   What you receive in return: We are based 5km from the CBD, we are accessible by train, tram and bus and all services are within walking distance.
