Job Description

Thrivent is offering an in-person Financial Advisor opportunity in Waukesha, WI, focused on helping clients create clarity and confidence through long-term planning. The role includes paid training to support you in obtaining state insurance licenses and FINRA registrations, with compensation delivered through commissions and incentives. What you’ll do

  • Build a financial practice by providing guidance to Christians on their journeys toward financial clarity, with an emphasis on empowering lives of service and faith.
  • Deliver personal, actionable, and achievable advice while connecting clients to Thrivent products and programs.
  • Develop and maintain genuine, long-term relationships across generations based on trust and understanding, including the ability to serve clients in your chosen community.
  • Schedule client appointments by leveraging your network and Thrivent’s reputation, participate in award-winning financial workshops, and market your practice.
  • Use flexibility to manage your schedule and support a sustainable work-life balance.
  • Work within a collaborative culture where colleagues want you to succeed and will help you do so.
  • Rely on support from specialists across the organization, including business development, marketing, technology, engagement, and experienced advisors as you grow your business.

Training, licensing, and compensation

You will receive paid training to obtain required state insurance licenses and FINRA registrations. Compensation is structured through commissions and incentive pay.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Military veterans are encouraged to apply.
  • Attain FINRA SIE and life and health licenses (licensed role only) before contracting.
  • Complete a satisfactory background check, fingerprinting, and securities registration and/or insurance licensing verification, if applicable.
