Job Description
Thrivent in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a Financial Advisor to help individuals and families build financial clarity grounded in faith. This onsite role centers on creating trusted relationships over time and guiding clients toward long-term financial well-being and service.
Thrivent provides paid training to support you in obtaining the required licenses and offers organizational resources, including specialists across business development, marketing, technology, engagement, and experienced advisors to help you grow your practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a financial practice that guides Christians on their journey to financial clarity, supporting lives of service and faith.
- Deliver personal, actionable, and achievable financial advice, and connect clients to Thrivent products and programs.
- Develop and sustain genuine, long-term relationships across generations through trust and understanding, with the ability to serve clients in your chosen community.
- Schedule client appointments using your network and Thrivent’s reputation, including leading award-winning financial workshops and marketing your practice.
- Use flexibility to manage your schedule and support work-life balance.
- Work within a collaborative culture where colleagues support your success.
- Leverage support from specialists in business development, marketing, technology, engagement, and experienced advisors as you build your business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; military veterans are encouraged to apply.
- Attainment of FINRA SIE and life and health licenses prior to contracting (licensed role only).
- Satisfactory background check, fingerprinting, and securities registration and/or insurance licensing verification, if applicable.
