Job Description
Retirable is hiring a Financial Advisor to support the buildout of its new Milwaukee office while providing fiduciary retirement guidance to warm inbound prospects and onboarded clients. This hybrid role centers on creating personalized retirement roadmaps and sustaining long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Run financial planning consultations with warm inbound prospects who have requested a consultation.
- Develop individualized retirement plans that address Social Security, withdrawal strategy, tax efficiency, and longevity risk.
- Support new clients through onboarding and account funding.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with onboarded clients, including periodic reviews and plan adjustments as life changes.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations to share themes and insights drawn from client conversations.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated client-facing financial planning experience.
- Ability to close: lead discovery to a clear recommendation, handle objections honestly, and convert qualified prospects to long-term clients without high-pressure tactics.
- Commitment to the fiduciary standard as the appropriate framework for retirement advice.
- Genuine interest in retirement planning topics, including Social Security claiming, sequence-of-returns risk, Roth conversions, and Medicare interactions.
- Comfort working in an organization still being built, where processes will evolve, tools will change, and there will be direct input into improvements.
- Schedule of Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm CST, with 2 Saturdays per month in place of a weekday to reduce prospecting time and increase advising time.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience serving the senior market or retirement-stage clients.
- Series 65, Series 7 and Series 66, or CFP.
- Bilingual (Spanish).
Compensation and Pay
The role offers USD 75,000 to 95,000 OTE with a base of $65,000 to $85,000, plus a quarterly performance bonus. The annual pay range is $75,000.00 to $95,000.00. Early advisors also receive an equity grant.
