Job Description
Northwestern Mutual / Lakefront Capital is looking for a Financial Representative in Cleveland, Ohio (onsite) who wants to build long-term client relationships and grow into a Financial Advisor. The path begins with developing a client base and delivering personalized planning, with ongoing training and licensing support through the transition.
This opportunity combines holistic financial planning with performance-based compensation, including renewal income for continued client service and policy management. You will use Northwestern Mutual proprietary planning software to support client education and recommendations across investments, insurance, and retirement-focused solutions.
Role Overview
Start as a Financial Representative and progress into a Financial Advisor at Northwestern Mutual. The work centers on building and maintaining client relationships, creating tailored plans, and guiding clients through major stages of life with a focus on holistic, integrated financial strategies.
Responsibilities
- Grow your client base by making new connections, maintaining a strong referral network, and providing a great client experience
- Build personalized, holistic financial plans tailored to each client’s unique needs
- Manage clients’ financial plans to help them achieve their goals
- Grow relationships with clients to support them through every stage of life
- Educate clients and deliver holistic financial plans, including investments for growth, insurance for protection, and annuities for guaranteed income in retirement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Entrepreneurial ambitions to be a business owner
- History of success in relationship-building or client-facing roles
- Excellent time-management skills
- Desire for continuous learning and collaboration
- Proficient critical thinking skills
- Strong communicator
- Strong sense of motivation and drive
- Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
