Job Description

Bank of America is seeking a Financial Solutions Advisor to deliver comprehensive financial planning and advisory services to clients, developing tailored plans and recommending brokerage products while triaging leads and referrals to meet client goals and regulatory requirements under the SAFE Act. This onsite role is based in Diamond Bar, California, with a salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to define short and long term financial objectives by constructing a tailored plan that incorporates brokerage products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and managed banking solutions.
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with the client's goals and needs.
  • Assess client requests and route to appropriate internal service teams based on client needs and asset thresholds.
  • Incorporate risk mitigation into daily activities to protect client interests.
  • Identify and engage prospective clients through referrals or existing financial center clientele.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on client needs and proposed product services.

Requirements

  • Licensing: current Series 7 and 66; or 63 and 65 in place of 66. If the 66 is not held but 63 or 65 is, an offer may be extended with the condition of passing the missing series within 60 days.
  • Minimum of one year in the investments industry, including training and deep knowledge of investment products and services.
  • At least one year of experience in the financial services sector and/or a sales environment with performance against goals.
  • Strong goal setting and the ability to achieve targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain solid client relationships.
  • Collaborative team player who works effectively with others to achieve results.
  • Effective and confident communication, comfortable engaging with all clients.
  • Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a client-focused mindset to identify the right solutions for clients.
  • Strong time management and capacity planning capabilities.
  • Thorough approach to regulatory due diligence in daily activities and long-term client strategies.
  • Education: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
  • At least three years of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) are preferred.
  • Insurance licenses are advantageous.
