Job Description
A single sentence of context: Senior Finance Analyst Co-Pilot supporting FP&A for Nestlé Waters and Premium Beverages in Arlington, VA (onsite), delivering accurate analyses and forecasts while partnering with Brand Co-Pilots to optimize profitability across the end-to-end Market-to-Zone scope.
Responsibilities
- Assists the monthly planning cycle, collaborating with cross-functional partners to clarify inputs for dynamic forecasting, identify risks and opportunities, and propose actions to improve forecast accuracy.
- Delivers timely, precise financial analyses and insights, recommending actions that boost profitability and optimize the current brand portfolio.
- Monitors month-end results and explains variances versus prior year and forecast projections.
- Provides decision-support analyses to cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
- Provides solid financials to enable assessment of new product proposals.
- Leverages total delivered cost insights to produce analytics that inform business decisions.
- Acts as a primary FP&A resource, supporting the Senior Manager in process improvements and the adoption of best practices across the organization.
- Participates in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in finance.
- Proven ability to influence business decisions with solid financial rationale.
- Resolve conflicts and discrepancies in a constructive, professional manner.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently to resolve business issues.
- Collaborate with other functional teams to drive results and meet deadlines.
- Identify risks and opportunities.
- Experience managing projects.
- Apply best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
