As part of the Finance and Strategy GTM team focused on post sales, this role partners with sales to provide financial guidance, build models, analyze data, and deliver insights that inform post-sales go-to-market decisions. Responsibilities
- Offer expert guidance to post-sales stakeholders on financial strategies, investments, and resource allocation decisions, drawing on a deep understanding of the company’s financials
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive analysis, build financial models, and recommend business decisions across renewals and expansion forecasting, customer retention economics, cost-to-serve, and headcount and capacity planning
- Prepare and present clear, concise, and insightful financial reports and analyses to support planning cycles, business reviews, cost tracking, and investment cases for post-sales programs
- Establish and maintain reporting dashboards and scorecards to track key operational and financial metrics across the post-sales customer lifecycle
- Work with strategic finance, FP&A, revenue operations, and accounting counterparts to align GTM plans with broader financial strategies and considerations
Requirements
- Experience in strategic finance, sales or GTM finance, FP&A, private equity, growth equity, venture capital, consulting, or investment banking
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into compelling insights and develop or maintain complex financial operating models
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to navigate complex financial challenges
- Comfort working cross-functionally and adept at communicating complex financial information to non-finance audiences
- Strong relationship-building, business judgment, process management, and communication skills
- Passion for Anthropic's mission to build safe, transformative AI systems
Logistics
- Education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
- Field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
- Minimum years of experience: Correlates with internal job level requirements for the position
- Location-based hybrid policy: San Francisco location with in-office presence at least 25% of the time; some roles may require more time on-site
