A Senior Finance Accountant onsite in Altoona, WI, responsible for monthly close, financial reporting, GL analysis, fixed assets and depreciation, and supporting annual audits and cost reports for Grace Lutheran Communities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely completion of monthly and annual close processes
- Manage other assigned projects to on-time completion
- Prepare and record journal entries
- Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts
- Analyze general ledger accounts as needed
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements
- Reconcile bank statements
- Coordinate documentation for annual audits and cost reports
- Maintain fixed assets and associated depreciation
- Perform duties in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Maintain confidentiality of information and records
- Communicate verbally and/or in writing with employees and external contacts
- Project a positive image of the organization in dealings with residents, co-workers, and external customers
- Experience with Great Plains and/or Business Central preferred
- Strong information systems aptitude
- Experience in Long-Term Care or other Health Care accounting/finance preferred
- Adapt to frequent interruptions and re-prioritization of tasks
