Associate Financial Advisor

Responsibilities

• Manage confidential member communications, handling sensitive information with discretion and delivering clear verbal and written responses to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Counsel and advise prospective and current members on suitable financial products and investment advisory services.
• Collect member information for financial planning and suitability assessments.
• Receive and enter securities trade orders from customers, including unsolicited orders.
• Explain and interpret insurance coverage, analyze policy exposures, and provide recommendations.
• Support financial representatives with meeting preparation and follow-up for member consultations.
• Additional duties may be assigned in line with licensure and business needs.
• Engage with prospects and existing clients to review products and identify potential new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Securities licenses (Series 7 and 66 or Series 7, 63 and 65) and state Life, Health and Annuities registrations as applicable.
• Successful completion of background check, fingerprinting, and verification of securities registration and/or insurance licensing where required.
• Must be registered or licensed in all states where the sponsor advisor receives support, and be willing to complete state training if Long Term Care sales are determined to be part of the role.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high quality work amid frequent interruptions.
• Ability to protect and maintain the integrity of sensitive and confidential information.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary of $36,000 per year, plus a commission potential tied to sales generated revenue.
• 401(k) retirement plan.

Dependencies

• Ability to collaborate with all roles of the sponsoring financial advisor.
• Ability to represent the organization when engaging with external clients.
• Capacity to build and sustain relationships with external organizations.
