Job Description

This onsite role in Charlotte, NC offers a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative culture designed to support professional growth. The team operates in a pod-based model with partnership across Premier Bankers, Preferred Advisors, and Retail Banking leadership to support training and referrals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide investment guidance in a virtual environment for an assigned book of business.
  • Consult with clients to identify needs and deliver value-added opportunities.
  • Explain how investment solutions align with client goals, using a broad range of products to help build tailored portfolios.
  • Ensure all transactions and practices within scope comply with relevant regulations and the Truist Code of Conduct.
  • Independently handle inbound client inquiries while recognizing sales opportunities.
  • Answer client questions in accordance with established standards.
  • Advise clients on holistic financial management to uncover needs and create value.
  • Demonstrate how specific investment solutions match client needs to develop an investment strategy.
  • Leverage technology to communicate with clients, plan portfolios, and present information.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on bank and line-of-business products; research moderately complex issues, interpret policies, and may mentor others in the area of expertise.
  • Collaborate in small pods with Premier Bankers, Preferred Advisors, and Retail Banking leadership to facilitate training and referrals; may maintain an individual book of business.

Requirements

  • 6 to 10 years of retail brokerage or securities industry experience.
  • Strong communications, sales, presentation, and organizational skills with an emphasis on proactive outbound calling.
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic financial planning and asset allocation techniques; solid knowledge of essential systems to support trade execution.
  • Highly organized with knowledge of essential systems, policies, procedures, and investment products and services including basic financial planning and asset allocation techniques.
  • Series 7 and 66 or equivalent registrations are required; insurance licenses required to sell life, health, fixed annuities and variable annuities.
  • Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
