Charlotte-based, onsite role supporting Regions’ Real Estate Banking coverage and origination efforts across segments such as Income Property Finance, Community Investment Capital, Home Builder Finance, and Real Estate Corporate Banking. You’ll work alongside bankers and Debt Product partners to help move deals forward with speed, certainty, and creativity.
What you’ll do
The Real Estate Banking Analyst provides primary analytical support to bankers on the origination and execution of real estate banking products and services. You’ll also assist with cultivating client relationships, prepare client-facing materials, and support coverage teams with research and pipeline coordination.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to value companies and depict projected financial results.
- Perform extensive financial and industry due diligence to evaluate risk/return parameters of transactions.
- Ensure high-quality client deliverables through strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Prepare written materials such as pitches, proposals, client materials, and related supporting analyses.
- Maintain proprietary databases by monitoring news, current events, transactions, and other financial information for clients, prospects, and industry participants.
- Understand client needs and identify Regions products and services or other actionable ideas that help clients achieve their goals.
- Provide expert service with a strong sense of urgency in coordinating between the coverage team and Debt Product partners to align with delivering the whole bank to the client with speed, certainty, and creativity.
- Support relationship managers with call planning coordination, production/pipeline management, and quality reporting across sales performance applications and measurement systems.
- Manage multiple projects and roles, working independently and as part of a team.
- Split time between supporting live deals and pitches and providing research and analytical support.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a proven record of high achievement.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.

Compensation and incentive
Salary range: USD 71,049 to 87,055 per year. Pay range targets include a minimum of $71,049.25 and a median of $87,055.50. Final compensation is based on experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location, and performance in the role.
This position is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan, with potential for a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
