Corporate Finance Analyst - AI Trainer

AfterQuery Experts is an AI-focused research lab exploring the boundaries of artificial intelligence through novel datasets and experimentation. This remote, project-based engagement calls for a Corporate Finance Analyst to build and refine financial models while incorporating accounting and tax considerations into forecasted statements over a short project window. The role is designed for independent, asynchronous work with a steady but flexible time commitment.

In this contract position in Tempe, AZ (remote), you will contribute on a project-by-project basis during a typical 2–3 week forecasting cycle, with an expected commitment of 10–20 hours per week.

What You’ll Do

• Develop detailed financial models and respond to financial questions as they arise during the project
• Apply complex accounting principles to real-world scenarios, including NOLs, DTAs, operating leases, and related considerations
• Translate accounting and tax factors into forecast impacts across the financial statements, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet

What You Bring

• 1–3 years of experience incorporating finance or FP&A work
• Understanding of financial modeling and accounting
