This entry-level Financial Advisor role at Equitable Advisors is onsite in Buffalo, NY and includes a defined progression to become a wealth manager through licensing sponsorship, a 120-day hands-on Personal Enrollment Program (PEP), mentorship, and stable pay plus opportunities to earn commissions and bonuses.
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain client relationships through networking events and ongoing portfolio management, ensuring consistent communication and progress tracking
- Learn to understand client financial objectives and risk tolerance to help devise personalized strategies
- Provide clear recommendations and guidance aligned to each client’s individual situation
- Discuss financial products and services tailored to clients’ needs
Training, mentorship, and growth support
- Complete comprehensive 120-day hands-on training (PEP)
- Work with a local Vice President who provides personalized coaching throughout your journey
- Participate in mentorship and opportunities for joint work
- Access Equitable Advisors’ Virtual University for continuous learning
- For those with management ambition, access the Leadership Development School
- Get encouragement to pursue professional designations including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Equitable Advisors’ Credentialed Holistic Financial Coach program
Compensation and benefits
Stable Pay: After successfully completing PEP, you will be eligible to become a 20th Edition financial professional. Equitable Advisors supports you with biweekly stable pay for up to your first 24 months as a financial professional, based on a structured 40-hour workweek and $33,400 annually.
Commissions and Bonus: In addition to stable pay, financial professionals are eligible to earn commissions and bonus.
Sign-on payment eligibility: You may be eligible for $250-$1,000 after signing the PEP agreement, based on a 120-day timeline for successful completion of company sponsored required FINRA licenses and registrations.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent skills and work experience
- State Life & Health, SIE, Series 7, and Series 66
- Values-driven with a track record of success and accomplishment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong self-confidence
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to positively impact others’ lives
- Ability to work with and learn from top performers
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
