Job Description

Based in Kansas City, KS (onsite), Thrivent seeks a Financial Advisor to build and manage a client-focused practice guided by Christian values, delivering personal, actionable guidance and connecting clients with Thrivent programs, with flexible scheduling and a collaborative support network.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a client-facing practice that helps Christians gain financial clarity while supporting lives of service and faith.
  • Provide personal, actionable and achievable financial guidance and connect clients with Thrivent products and programs.
  • Cultivate genuine, long-term relationships across generations based on trust and understanding, and serve clients in your chosen community.
  • Schedule client appointments by leveraging your network and Thrivent's reputation, deliver effective financial workshops, and market your practice.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to support work-life balance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues who are invested in your success and ready to help you grow.
  • Access a broad network of specialists—from business development and marketing to technology, engagement, and veteran advisors—to support your practice development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; military veterans are encouraged to apply.
  • Hold FINRA SIE, life, and health licenses (licensed role before contracting).
  • Successful completion of a background check, fingerprinting, and verification of securities registration and/or insurance licensing where applicable.
