Job Description

In this Financial Advisor role at PNC Investments, you’ll work in a collaborative branch environment in Erie, PA (Kearsarge branch, onsite) to advise clients and help manage an assigned book of business. The position focuses on delivering planning and investment guidance tied to clients’ savings, investing, and retirement goals while building long-term relationships.

What you’ll do

  • Consult with clients on investment and insurance strategies and assist with developing financial plans.
  • Own the client experience by efficiently handling sales and service, identifying sales and/or executing opportunities, and making referrals to internal business partners as appropriate.
  • Acquire, expand, and maintain client relationships through business development and client networking.
  • Grow client loyalty and share of wallet through an exceptional client experience.
  • Use product and procedural knowledge to solve client problems appropriately and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement investment and insurance strategies, and determine the best products to support those strategies.
  • Present sound financial recommendations and guidance, establishing individual financial plans based on client objectives and needs.
  • Monitor financial plans over time and recommend changes as needed.
  • Coach and educate branch staff and internal business partners on identifying investment opportunities, driving investment education and visibility across the branch.
  • In partnership with the branch manager and/or investment sales associate, lead the branch team on actions intended to achieve investment results.
  • Maintain urgency in daily activities and lead by example.
  • Communicate regularly with internal and external partners to build relationships that support referral activity.
  • Meet regularly with the branch manager and other internal business partners to communicate and review business results and pipeline management.
  • Meet service level agreements for lead and referral follow-up.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines.

Minimum qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience (a university/college degree is required, or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree).
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) required.
  • Life and Health Insurance required.
