Job Description

Bloomberg’s Finance & Administration group is seeking a Financial Analyst to lead workforce FP&A activities, focusing on reporting, planning, and analytics to support the global workforce. The role partners closely with HR and Finance to generate insights that inform senior management decisions, with an onsite position in New York, NY. The compensation ranges from USD 85,000 to 120,000 per year and requires a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key business contacts to define financial and operational reporting needs.
  • Oversee monthly reporting and analysis of major workforce expenses and metrics for finance leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Design, build, and run efficient, tightly controlled financial reporting processes.
  • Assist in preparing presentations for Senior Management on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
  • Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, streamline data collection, and enhance data presentation.
  • Provide timely ad hoc analyses to support inquiries from Senior Management and business partners.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and Finance to ensure alignment between systems and processes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Finance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to work confidently with data, identify business trends, and develop insightful analyses
  • Ownership of analysis and reporting within a defined scope
  • Strong quantitative, financial, and data manipulation skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and prioritization abilities to manage multiple stakeholders
