As the lead business data analyst for the Americas, you will drive data governance, standardize reporting, and support digital transformation to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Translate corporate data and tool standards into actionable guidance for local business units to ensure data is used consistently and accurately.
- Create and maintain standardized analytics, reporting, and data quality processes.
- Monitor master data quality and collaborate with data owners to align with corporate standards while accommodating local needs.
- Maintain data consistency, accuracy, and trust across systems to keep reporting reliable and minimize operational issues.
- Work with US Controlling and business leaders to define analytics requirements, develop ad hoc reports, and dashboards to support KPIs.
- Utilize relevant data sources and perform advanced modeling on large datasets to inform strategic decisions.
- Lead productivity initiatives to automate manual data tasks, customize global Power BI reports for local needs, and coordinate with IT to migrate external reports into ERP workspaces.
- Translate complex data into clear insights that influence forecasting, planning, cost management, and operational improvement.
- Partner with Americas IT and Global Digital Performance to assess the landscape, enhance AI capabilities, and support financial data transitions during ERP upgrades.
- Develop Copilot AI agents to streamline and automate local business processes.
- Advance digital capabilities that reduce manual effort, improve data accuracy, and modernize reporting tools across the business.
- Provide oversight, training, and first level support for Power BI, Excel (including advanced functions and macros), and other analytical tools.
- Collaborate across Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT to align analytics and reporting solutions.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a closely related analytical field
- 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience in data analytics, financial reporting, or business intelligence
- Strong advanced analytics capability with a proactive mindset, including hands-on experience with process automation analytics and Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
- Advanced Excel skills (expert-level complex functions, pivot tables, Power Query, VBA & Macros)
- Experience designing and maintaining data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, including data modeling, Power Query, and DAX
- Practical experience building, deploying, and sustaining AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot Agents (preferred)
- Experience with data governance, data quality management, and establishing and enforcing standard KPI definitions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a track record of translating data into actionable insights
- Ability to manage complex datasets and systems while delivering high impact analytics to leadership
