Job Description
Equifax Workforce Solutions Finance offers a pathway to design and scale data solutions that move from prototype to production with minimal friction. In this role you will own all Workforce Solutions Financial data elements, shaping an optimized environment that drives actionable insights and advances the business. This onsite position is based in St. Louis, Missouri.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and implementation of Equifax Workforce Solutions Finance data models in GCP
- Contribute to strategies, standards, and best practices for data access and integration within GCP
- Provide recommendations to increase data utilization based on the data delivery environment
- Collaborate with Technology, Security, Data Governance, and IT Operations to accelerate movement of key Financial data assets to GCP
- Stay current with the evolving GCP technology landscape and share knowledge with the team
- Support the technology roadmap and architectural discussions, translating business vision into scalable engineering deliverables within an Agile framework
- Orchestrate automated data workflows and processes using Python, Airflow, Jenkins and/or Astronomer to reduce manual intervention and boost efficiency
- Engage in rigorous software development activities, including unit tests and code deployments, performing code reviews to maintain codebase health
- Research and evaluate emerging data sources and technologies including ML, AI and RPA to enhance the data strategy and outputs for Finance
- Partner with governance and compliance professionals to ensure ethical and legal data use and maintain precise data lineage
- Work with IT Centers of Excellence to refine ETL toolsets and improve cycle time and system performance
- Author training materials and lead sessions to educate internal teams on data strategy, operating models, and evolving capabilities
- Deconstruct complex problems into actionable data components to drive evidence-based solutions
- Triage product or system issues, performing root-cause analyses and implementing short- and long-term solutions
- Orchestrate automated data workflows and processes using Python, Spark, Airflow, Jenkins and/or Astronomer to maximize efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, or a quantitative field with strong programming emphasis
- 5+ years of experience building, loading, transforming, and analyzing data across database platforms and other data stores
- 5+ years of experience working in GCP or a similar cloud environment
- 5+ years of scripting and coding experience
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, BigQuery, and Airflow / Cloud Composer
