Junior Financial Advisor

The Junior Financial Advisor role at Acorn Financial Services in Paramus, New Jersey focuses on supporting the development and management of financial plans, client onboarding, ongoing communications, and investment research within a small wealth management practice.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to develop and manage financial plans.
• Coordinate with other office professionals to process movement of funds and equities.
• Assist in data gathering and compilation of financial documents, and perform research and analysis of current and prospective investments.
• Prepare sales packages.
• Follow firm compliance procedures and file maintenance.
• Track onboarding process for new clients in a timely and effective manner.
• Oversee client requests, including account maintenance, money movement, and account inquiries; communicate with clients.

Requirements

• Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 exam with registration in good order.
• 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• 5+ years of brokerage sales support experience.
• Working knowledge of eMoney.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Life and Health Insurance license.
• Experience working with clients directly.
• Bachelor's degree.
