Job Description

In Basehor, Kansas, a Licensed Financial Services Advisor operates within the Trust & Financial Services Department to deliver comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services. This role serves both existing and prospective clients, focusing on financial, investment, insurance, tax and estate planning while driving business development and client retention in the local market.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the necessary skills, knowledge, training and securities licenses required to serve clients in a financial advisory capacity.
  • Recommends and manages investment solutions including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, REITs, insurance and annuity products, ensuring transactions are executed accurately.
  • Collaborates with clients’ external advisors, including attorneys, accountants and insurance providers, to deliver and implement a comprehensive wealth management plan.
  • Advises both personal and commercial clients on retirement and savings plans.
  • Cultivates and maintains relationships with referral partners, including attorneys and accountants, and engages in community and business development activities.
  • Builds relationships with co-workers to support cross-delivery of services to customers.
  • Sets clear goals and executes a business plan to meet those goals.
  • Keeps informed of industry trends, products and regulations and identifies opportunities for improvement of the solutions offered.
  • Delivers responsive, high-quality service and ongoing support to meet client needs.
  • Maintains compliance with all applicable bank, broker/dealer, state and federal regulations.
  • Upholds a positive public image of the Bank within the community.

Requirements

  • FINRA Series 7 and 66.
  • Or Series 7, 63 and 65 and appropriate State insurance licenses.
