.Net Engineering (Financial services domain)

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann Company is seeking a .NET Engineering leader to deliver scalable applications for financial services and investment data clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of .NET-based applications, focused on performance, scalability, and security
• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver solutions aligned to client needs
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of .NET developers, driving best practices and code quality
• Drive adoption of modern .NET frameworks, tools, and methodologies to improve development efficiency
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions by working with stakeholders
• Enforce coding standards, security best practices, and performance optimization techniques
• Run code reviews, identify improvement areas, and implement changes to raise application quality
• Stay current with .NET development trends to support continuous innovation
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful execution

Requirements

• 8+ years of .NET development experience, including strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related technologies
• Proven background leading .NET-based projects, managing teams, and delivering high-quality solutions
• Strong cloud experience with Azure or AWS
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and modern web development frameworks
• Expertise with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, or NoSQL databases
• Strong problem-solving and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients
• Experience with Agile and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing for .NET applications
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including JavaScript, Angular, or React
• Certifications in .NET development, cloud platforms, or Agile methodologies
• Experience leading digital transformation initiatives for enterprise clients

• Local to Chicago, IL
• Onsite requirement: 4 days onsite work
• Work domain requirement: Asset management/Investment Data domain is a must
• Employment type: W2 only; No Agency Candidates please
• Pay rate: USD 45.50 - 65.00 per hourly
• Estimated minimum rate: $45.50
