Job Description
Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Production Finance Analyst to support Prime Video Sports Production, driving financial planning, analysis, and controllership for Amazon’s global live sports production operations while collaborating with production, content, and operations teams. This onsite role in Culver City, CA offers a salary range of USD 70,400 to 99,300 per year, reflecting the scope and impact of the position.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly and quarterly forecasts for sports production operations, including P&L analysis and variance reviews.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decisions on production investments and capital allocation.
- Partner with production teams to create accurate budgets for live sports events, studio operations, and production infrastructure.
- Oversee financial controllership for live sports productions, ensuring precise cost tracking and reporting.
- Monitor production spend against budgets, proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
- Act as a trusted finance partner to production, content strategy, and operations teams, translating complex financial concepts into actionable insights.
- Support deal structuring and financial analysis for new sports rights acquisitions and production partnerships.
- Lead business case development for major capital investments in production facilities and technology.
- Analyze production efficiency metrics and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Drive process improvements to enhance financial visibility and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field.
- Experience building and managing financial models for forecasting and problem solving, or experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.
- 2+ years of experience in entertainment, brand or production entities.
