Job Description
Senior Financial Analyst position at Gelson's Market in Santa Fe Springs, CA, on-site, with a salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex financial and operational reporting and analysis to inform decision making across the business.
- Develop and implement programs to improve profitability and drive operational enhancements in areas such as labor management, margin optimization, promotions, and cost reductions.
- Collaborate with department managers and other business leaders to develop corporate budgets and forecasts.
- Collect, review, and analyze data; propose solutions to increase accuracy, efficiency, and productivity.
- Oversee capital reporting and planning, including preparation of various ROI analyses.
- Evaluate proposed projects to ensure all needs are met within the project scope.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or a related field.
- Two years of corporate financial experience (minimum).
- MBA strongly preferred.
- Highly proficient with MS Excel and Business Intelligence tools.
- Proficient use of quantitative techniques to analyze financial and operational data.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Retail or supermarket sector experience is preferred.
