Senior Financial Analyst I

Senior Financial Analyst I role focused on Corporate FP&A, serving as a finance partner for budget planning and performance analysis across Micron’s People and Legal organizations.

Responsibilities

• Own Corporate FP&A activities and act as the primary finance partner for budget management for Micron’s People Organization and Legal Organization.
• Partner with leadership to set budgets, review performance vs. plan, and track intraquarter budget results.
• Run ad hoc financial analyses to evaluate project financial viability.
• Provide financial support to global organizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Finance and People (and more) to manage the worldwide quarterly budget expense plan.
• Support business partnership responsibilities, including assignee cost and allocation cross-charges.
• Use problem-solving to maintain efficient and accurate processes aligned to business needs.
• Build and maintain custom and dynamic financial reports that support better decision making and actionable insights.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leaders across diverse geographies.

Financial Planning & Analysis Focus

• Perform financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Develop financial models for budget review and data analysis.
• Design scalable, repeatable reporting logic to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial analysis.
• Synthesize complex financial data into clear, structured, executive-ready presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation (employer accepts Bachelor’s degree with 3 years).
• Master’s degree option: employer accepts a Master’s degree in the listed fields.
• Proficiency with Python and SQL.
