Sr. Financial Data Analyst
Job Description
Highline Warren is seeking a Senior Financial Data Analyst to turn complex financial and operational information into clear, decision-ready insights for leadership. This onsite role in Memphis, TN combines advanced financial modeling with business intelligence reporting, supporting both Finance and cross-functional teams through executive dashboards and analytics.
In this position, you will build and refine modeling and reporting tools, improve how performance is tracked across the business, and help stakeholders focus on the drivers, risks, and opportunities that matter most.
What you’ll do
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models and analytical tools using advanced Excel to support forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis, business planning, and ongoing decision-making.
- Design, build, and maintain executive-level dashboards, scorecards, and reporting using internal business intelligence tools (including Snowflake/Sigma).
- Create clear, visually compelling reporting that gives leadership visibility into financial and operational performance, trends, business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Produce and improve executive reporting packages and dashboards so leadership can quickly understand performance and prioritize key business issues.
- Support Commercial Operations and Business Unit leadership with reporting and analysis tied to sales performance, revenue, pricing, customer activity, productivity, and other core commercial metrics.
- Increase reporting efficiency through automation, process improvement, and development of standardized, scalable reporting solutions.
Key skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance, MIS, or a related field.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, complex formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data manipulation, and model development.
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards and visualizations in a business intelligence platform such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or a similar tool.
- Strong working knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities, with experience working through complex and ambiguous situations.
- Experience supporting cross-functional business stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights and executive-level reporting.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial data analytics, FP&A, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
