Staff Accountant (Construction, Real Estate and Finance experience preferred)

King General Contractors, Inc is seeking a Staff Accountant with construction, real estate, and finance experience for an onsite role in Bristol, Virginia. This position supports daily bookkeeping and payroll for a heavy civil contracting company, delivering routine financial reporting, bank reconciliations, inventory oversight, cost-tracking adjustments, and close collaboration with project managers to align financials with project progress.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and be involved in the daily bookkeeping activities and payroll preparation for a heavy civil contracting company.
• Prepare and provide financial reports to upper management that include the balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and Job Schedule including the Work in Process schedule, Real Estate ProFormas and Financial ROI’s.
• Reconciliation of bank statements.
• Track inventory and sales for our product and maintain a cost tracking procedure that allows for adjustments to sale price as needed.
• Work directly with Project Managers to gather information and share output back with them.

Compensation

40k-70k depending upon experience and knowledge. We offer on-the-job training and are willing to help you grow and learn.

$50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
