Job Description

The Executive-level VP of Finance / CFO will guide financial operations for Kennesaw Transportation, Inc, overseeing reporting, forecasting, financing, and accounting within a trucking and logistics, asset-based environment. This onsite role in Rydal, GA offers a salary range of USD 77,324 to 93,121 per year. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least seven years of progressive finance leadership are required, with preference for candidates who bring trucking, transportation, or fleet sector experience.

Responsibilities

Direct all financial operations across the organization
Oversee financial reporting processes
Steer forecasting activities and long-term financial planning
Manage financing strategies and relationships with lenders
supervise accounting functions and teams
Coordinate financial consolidations
Oversee general ledger accounting
Lead budgeting cycles and financial planning
Optimize cash flow management
Maintain banking relationships and lender communications
Prepare and submit lender reporting
Structure equipment financing arrangements
Strengthen internal controls and compliance
Guide and develop the accounting team

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
7 to 10 years of progressive finance or accounting leadership experience
Trucking, transportation, logistics, or fleet experience strongly preferred
Robust background in financial reporting, consolidations, forecasting, budgeting, and general ledger accounting
Experience with banking, debt financing, equipment loans, and cash flow management
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical abilities
