The Director of Industrial Finance oversees the finance function for DeZURIK's Industrial Business Unit, managing full P&L and balance sheet analysis, forecasting and budgeting, and collaboration with Corporate Finance. This leadership role reports to the Executive Vice President of Industrial.
Location
Sartell, Minnesota, with a hybrid work arrangement.
Salary
Base compensation is USD 98,221 to 122,776 per year.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of the Industrial Business Unit, engaging with leaders at multiple levels and with Corporate resources.
- Create and refine finance processes, acting as a change agent, role model, and coach, including coaching team members on finance concepts.
- Drive business performance by leading finance activities, including:
- Develop deep knowledge of the IBU's target industry segments, major competitors, and market trends to support strategy interpretation for North American and international markets and customers served by the portfolio.
- Provide advanced analytical support to identify key customer, market, and cost trends aimed at achieving financial goals such as free cash flow and working capital optimization for the business unit.
- Advise IBU leadership with financial analyses of growth initiatives, portfolio management (product, channel, customer), pricing, costing, and new product development.
- Compile monthly analyses of customer and product sales and margins to ensure leaders clearly understand issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts and the annual budgeting process for the business unit, collaborating with functional leaders and Corporate leadership.
- Participate in and contribute to the SIOP processes for IBU forecasting and planning.
- Collaborate with Corporate to conduct thorough financial reviews, strategic planning, and modeling for acquisitions within this business segment.
- Analyze material variances from plans and forecasts, providing recommendations to IBU management and driving continuous improvement of business processes.
- Ensure reliability of financial data by supporting and validating the reconciliation processes across ERP, Financial Reporting systems, and Business Intelligence tools.
- Partner with Corporate Finance to help verify the accuracy of monthly results as needed.
- Support standardization and improvement of key processes and reporting for the Industrial Business Unit and the broader organization, upholding a culture of respect, teamwork, integrity, and accountability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA/CMA preferred.
- minimum 5 years of experience in Sales and Operations Finance, Financial Planning and Forecasting, or Corporate Finance.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and International Accounting Standards (IAS).
- Manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Solid analytical and quantitative abilities with the capacity to present clear summaries to all management levels.
- Ability to dig into operations to identify opportunities, collect data, validate facts, and drive strategic initiatives while executing on them.
- Experience leading or supporting cross-functional projects involving Business Leadership, Finance, and Operations personnel.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau and DOMO to produce insightful reports.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; Oracle NetSuite experience is a plus.

Physical Demands
- Typical office work requiring extended periods of sitting, computer use, and phone activity.
- Travel for projects or systems support, up to 20 percent of the time, domestically and internationally.
