Job Description

DSI Systems Inc. is seeking a Financial Data Analyst to join the on-site team in Urbandale, IA. This role collaborates with management and cross-functional partners on data tasks, reporting, and ad hoc requests to support decision-making and drive operational efficiency across the organization. The position carries a salary range of $40,000 to $50,000 per year and requires a BA/BS with at least two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Process dealer inquiries, interpret and investigate data by querying multiple vendor tables with SQL, and resolve dealer disputes promptly.
Execute data collection, reporting, dealer payments, and vendor receivable reconciliation across multiple DSI programs.
Analyze vendor data and ensure changes are applied to current vendor payment processes.
Identify high-level data issues from vendors while collaborating with Sales at all levels.
Prepare ad hoc financial reports by gathering data from various accounting applications and formatting it for the intended audience.
Provide admin-level support to other DSI departments as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

BA/BS with 2+ years of experience in IT, finance, accounting, analytics, or related work.
Proficiency in MS Excel, with 1+ years of experience handling large data sets.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence effectively across departments.
The drive to understand core issues and a determination to uncover solutions.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized.
Experience with MS SQL, MS SQL Reporting Services, MS Visual Basic, and Domo is a plus.
Knowledge or experience in accounting or finance is a plus.
