Job Description

New York Life is seeking a Financial Professional to grow a client base in Wall, New Jersey, operating in a hybrid work setting. This role centers on proactive outreach, needs-based financial guidance, and delivering tailored solutions that help clients achieve their goals.

In this position, you will build trust with clients, provide ongoing service, and maintain compliant records while navigating a dynamic financial landscape.

Responsibilities

Actively pursue outside sales to expand your client roster, prioritizing trust and durable, long-term relationships.
Adopt a holistic, needs-based approach by listening to clients, identifying their unique goals, and recommending solutions that enhance financial security.
Deliver ongoing service through personalized follow-ups, regular reviews, and clear communication to keep clients informed and confident in their decisions.
Maintain accurate client records and documentation while supporting adherence to industry regulations.
Leverage multilingual and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with a diverse client base.

Requirements

Proven success in sales, business development, or client acquisition with a consultative, needs-based selling approach.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, listening first and guiding clients with clarity and confidence.
Strong ethical standards and a client-safety mindset, always prioritizing the client's best interests.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with resilience to prospect, follow up, and grow the practice over time.
Solid organizational abilities to manage client information, stay compliant, and foster long-term relationships.
Commitment to continuous learning about financial products, markets, and regulations.
Multilingual abilities are a plus, enabling connection with and service to a diverse clientele.
