Manage core accounting operations and drive accurate reporting in a hybrid role based in Wilson, NC.

Oversee end-to-end financial accounting activities, including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and month-end closing.
Prepare and support financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Perform detailed account analysis using spreadsheets and financial software to surface discrepancies and support optimization of cash management and forecasting.
Maintain timely and accurate month-end close by ensuring financial data entries are correct within the general ledger system.
Complete monthly reconciliation against bank statements as part of the closing workflow.

Bachelor’s degree (required).
Extensive knowledge of accounting standards.
Proven experience in corporate finance.
Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting (essential).
Expertise in account reconciliation, including balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis techniques.
Strong technical accounting knowledge, including double entry bookkeeping and debits & credits.
Experience administering accounts payable/receivable processes with attention to internal controls compliance.
Accounting experience: 1 year (preferred).
