This fast-track program at New York Life is designed to advance a financial professional into leadership, starting with sales and client-relations training and culminating in an Associate Partner role in Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Begin as a financial professional, mastering product sales, client relationship building, and initial requirements before advancing into a leadership track.
- Complete a six-month intensive training program focused on preparing you for managerial responsibilities.
- Leverage the experience to recruit and coach others toward success.
- Phase 1 provides hands-on exposure to the financial professional role during the first year, with extensive training, access to digital tools, and a full product suite.
- Phase 2, after meeting first-year requirements, enters a specialized six-month Associate Partner training program to lead and develop your team of financial professionals.
Phase 1: Firsthand Experience as a Financial Professional
In the first year, you will work as a financial professional to learn the role and day-to-day activities, supported by comprehensive training, digital resources, and a broad product lineup.
Training and Resources
Expect top-tier training that underscores the value of New York Life. In addition to formal instruction, you will have access to day-to-day resources, including subject-matter experts and a suite of digital sales, prospecting, and marketing tools to attract and retain clients through web, social, and email content.
Product Solutions
New York Life and its subsidiary NYLIFE Securities LLC offer a broad range of competitive insurance and financial products, including life insurance, annuities, long-term care insurance, disability income insurance, and investment products such as mutual funds. NYLIFE Securities LLC is a FINRA and SIPC member and operates as a Licensed Insurance Agency. You will be required to hold securities licenses as part of your role.
Phase 2: Your Transition to Associate Partner
After meeting the first-year requirements, you will enter a specialized six-month Associate Partner training program to lead and grow your team of financial professionals. Throughout your career journey, ongoing opportunities for advancement to higher levels of management will remain.
Compensation
Qualified associates who attain Associate Partner status receive a salary in the range of USD 60,000 – 150,000 per year. In California and Washington, the stated minimums are $66,560 and $67,725 respectively. Additional bonuses and incentives are awarded based on unit performance, including compensation related to the agents you recruit and develop (R&Ds).
