Associate Financial Advisor
Job Description
Edward Jones is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor in Almont, CO to work onsite and help deliver tailored financial strategies for clients. In this role, you will collaborate closely with financial advisors and client support teammates, combining relationship building with planning and portfolio support to advance client outcomes.
What you’ll do
- Build and deepen client relationships by supporting discovery conversations, collecting key financial information, and helping move personalized financial plans forward based on client goals and priorities
- Support comprehensive financial planning through analysis and scenario modeling, helping align investments to client goals, major life events, and long-term priorities
- Contribute to portfolio strategy and implementation by researching performance, allocation, and costs, preparing proposals, and supporting investment adjustments in line with suitability and firm guidance
- Partner with the financial advisor and practice team to provide ongoing planning support, including monitoring progress, preparing reviews, and adjusting strategies as client needs change
- Help drive client and practice growth through outreach, referrals, and community engagement that introduces clients to a relationship-based financial planning experience
What you bring
- A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience), or background in financial services, sales, or another area that demonstrates relationship-building and results
- Demonstrated experience in sales, business development, client relationship management, or a position requiring strong interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivation and a strong drive to achieve goals, with accountability in a performance-oriented environment
- Clear, confident communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex concepts and guide meaningful client conversations
- Willingness to obtain Series 7, Series 66, and state insurance licenses within three months of hire, with licensing fully sponsored and supported by Edward Jones
- Comfort learning and applying financial planning software and digital engagement tools

What could set you apart
- Partial securities licensing (such as the SIE exam)
- 3–5 years of experience in financial services, investment advisory, or wealth management
- CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) designation or active progress toward it
- Familiarity with financial planning tools such as MoneyGuide or Salesforce
