Job Description
Join a client-focused Certified Financial Planner role delivering personalized planning strategies for individuals and families in Kalispell, MT (onsite).
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive financial reviews to understand client objectives, current financial situation, and risk tolerance
- Create customized financial plans covering retirement, investment management, tax strategies, insurance planning, and estate planning
- Explain recommendations clearly and effectively to clients
- Continuously monitor client accounts and financial progress; recommend updates and adjust plans as circumstances change
- Stay current on market trends, tax regulations, and financial planning best practices
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through trust, transparency, and high service standards
- Work with outside professionals such as CPAs, attorneys, and other advisors to support comprehensive solutions
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Participate in business development, networking, and referral generation activities
Requirements
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or financial advisory services
- Strong knowledge of investment strategies and financial products, including tax planning and estate planning concepts
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with or willingness to learn financial planning software including eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or RightCapital
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
