Job Description

Join a client-focused Certified Financial Planner role delivering personalized planning strategies for individuals and families in Kalispell, MT (onsite).

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive financial reviews to understand client objectives, current financial situation, and risk tolerance
  • Create customized financial plans covering retirement, investment management, tax strategies, insurance planning, and estate planning
  • Explain recommendations clearly and effectively to clients
  • Continuously monitor client accounts and financial progress; recommend updates and adjust plans as circumstances change
  • Stay current on market trends, tax regulations, and financial planning best practices
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through trust, transparency, and high service standards
  • Work with outside professionals such as CPAs, attorneys, and other advisors to support comprehensive solutions
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Participate in business development, networking, and referral generation activities

Requirements

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or financial advisory services
  • Strong knowledge of investment strategies and financial products, including tax planning and estate planning concepts
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with or willingness to learn financial planning software including eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or RightCapital
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
