Job Description

JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s Corporate Finance Analytics team in New York, NY (onsite) is seeking a Senior Associate to lead firmwide financial analysis, shape reporting materials for senior leadership, and mentor junior colleagues. This role blends rigorous data review with cross‑functional collaboration to support strategic decision‑making at the highest levels of the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Drive analysis, data visuals, and fact validation for the Chairman & CEO Letter to Shareholders, coordinating with multiple teams and business partners across the firm, while guiding and reviewing the work of junior team members for accuracy and completeness
  • Serve as a lead reviewer on quarterly and ad hoc competitor analysis, earnings coverage and research, owning the deliverables end-to-end and ensuring methodologies meet high standards through critical evaluation and constructive feedback
  • Complete ad hoc projects and analyses for high-priority and topical issues for senior management
  • Conduct ad hoc and monthly valuation analyses with a clear understanding of techniques such as Dividend Discount Modeling
  • Aid in data preparation for external and internal events and conferences, including Investor Day
  • Own and manage weekly and monthly firmwide financial reporting, along with ad hoc reporting requests from senior management
  • Become proficient in systems such as FactSet and Capital IQ for competitor research, financial analysis, the Letter to shareholders, and other ad hoc requests
  • Create PowerPoint presentations for senior management, including ad hoc analysis, town halls, and routine BAU reporting
  • Integrate internal AI/ML tools into competitor coverage and other financial reporting to improve efficiency and quality
  • Continuously evaluate processes and recommend enhancements
  • Aid in mentoring, teaching, and developing talent across the team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5 years of professional experience in a similar role, such as Planning and Analysis, Investor Relations, or Corporate Finance
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, creative thinking, and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to manage projects end-to-end with a high degree of autonomy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly
  • Team player who is respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A Teams
  • Ability to generate ideas for improving internal processes
