New York Life is hiring for its Fast Track Program, a structured path that combines hands-on agent experience, mentorship from Phase 1 General Office leadership, and an Associate Partner Training Program designed to prepare you for management. This hybrid role in Glendale, CA supports your growth through recruiting development, ongoing training through NYLIC University, and step-by-step licensing and FINRA registration milestones.
What you’ll do
- Build hands-on agent experience under the mentorship of your Phase 1 General Office management team.
- Execute your business development plan with support from your Manager, your Development Manager, and the NYLIC University training program.
- Recruit and develop your own team of agents.
- Continue recruiting and developing your team as you progress into increasingly senior management levels.
- Work toward promotions to Senior Partner, Executive Partner, and ultimately Managing Partner.
Licensing and program progression
If you are not yet licensed to sell life insurance, the process starts with licensing to sell life insurance. Once licensed, you become contracted and can begin selling insurance products.
To qualify for program requirements, you will study to attain the FINRA Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 registrations. This includes passing the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, and you may take both exams on the same day.
As part of the pathway, you will be enrolled in the Associate Partner Training Program, an intensive six-month program intended to develop you and prime you for success as a manager.
Associate Partner and management transition (Phases 2 and 3)
Phase 2: After you complete 12 months of sales experience, attain the Associate required FINRA registrations, and meet additional requirements, you become Partner eligible to transition into management as an Associate Partner. You are responsible for recruiting and developing your own team of agents and remain enrolled in the Associate Partner Training Program.
Phase 3: After meeting all Associate Partner program requirements, you fully transition into management as a Partner with New York Life.
