Job Description

First Seacoast Bank seeks a Financial Advisor in Dover, NH onsite to support the Wealth Department, drive client focused sales, and ensure compliance with banking, FINRA, and SEC regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of financial products and services, including managed solutions, life insurance, long term care insurance, and annuities.
  • Maintain client databases, process new account openings, and track mailings and transfers.
  • Prepare client proposals and gather information ahead of meetings with clients or prospects.
  • Schedule meetings for Wealth Executives to facilitate client engagement.
  • Oversee paperwork and systems for IRA distributions, transfers, address changes, and other service items.
  • Research and prepare client reviews and maintain a detailed performance reporting framework.
  • Develop and maintain a reporting process for calls used in weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings.
  • Assist in the execution of the Wealth Management Client Service Model.
  • Conduct investment research as needed to support advisory decisions.
  • Assist in developing client portfolio presentations for wealth management discussions.
  • Provide basic information to clients and prospective clients as appropriate.
  • Manage incoming service requests from clients and Wealth Executives to ensure timely responses.
  • Coordinate and participate in business development activities, client events, public education seminars, and periodic meetings.
  • Lead strategic outreach with clients, prospects, and centers of influence to generate appointments and referrals for FSB Wealth Management.
  • Assist customers with technology inquiries regarding mobile and online banking platforms.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service and ensure consistent quality across interactions.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the Wealth Department and its goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Customer Focus: Prioritize clients and their needs, building and sustaining productive relationships.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy across tasks and processes, accounting for all aspects of the role.
  • Sales Ability/Persuasiveness: Use appropriate interpersonal styles to gain acceptance of products, services, or ideas from prospects and clients.

  • Integrity: Demonstrates honesty, maintains confidentiality, and adheres to policies and procedures.

Work Conditions

  • Physical surroundings are pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or hazards and a moderate level of noise.
  • Physical effort required; able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
