Financial Advisor
Job Description
Kadima Wealth is seeking a licensed Financial Advisor to support a growth and business-development mission built around direct client advice and disciplined investment management. The role is onsite in Schaumburg, IL and centers on prospecting, converting opportunities, and building durable client relationships, with firm resources available to help you execute.
Working in partnership with Kadima’s client-service, operational, technology, and investment support, you will take primary responsibility for originating relationships and turning qualified conversations into new assets and revenue.
What you will do
- Build and execute a personal business-development plan using professional referrals, community relationships, networking, events, digital outreach, and other appropriate channels.
- Generate qualified prospect conversations rather than relying exclusively on firm-assigned leads.
- Convert both self-generated and firm-supported opportunities by leading discovery meetings, presenting recommendations, addressing objections, and asking for the business.
- Develop trusted relationships with individuals, families, executives, business owners, and other qualified prospects.
- Serve as the primary advisor for relationships you originate, supported by Kadima’s client-service, operational, technology, and investment resources.
- Maintain disciplined follow-up, accurate CRM records, and clear accountability for activity, pipeline, conversion, new assets, and new revenue.
- Help strengthen Kadima’s referral network, market presence, and a repeatable approach to growth.
Licenses and eligibility
- Current Series 65, or current Series 7 and Series 66, with the ability to become registered promptly as an investment adviser representative through the firm’s platform.
- Ability to pass all required background, registration, and firm reviews.
What you bring
- Minimum 3 years of experience (preferred) in client-facing investment, advisory, banking, brokerage, or financial-services work.
- Evidence that you have personally generated or converted new business.
- Strong communication, judgment, follow-up, and the confidence to ask for a commitment.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, personal accountability, and comfort operating in a growing firm where initiative matters.
- CFP certification or another advanced designation is welcomed but not required.
