Job Description

Senior Financial Analysis role onsite in Wilmington, DE within JPMorgan Chase's Chase Branded Cards CFO team, focusing on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability improvements for the Sapphire portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain financial partnerships with business unit General Managers and teams through regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting, ad hoc analyses, and projects that reveal insights into portfolio, product, and customer behavior.
  • Evaluate financial results and forecasts to provide performance recommendations to finance and business stakeholders.
  • Develop and uphold multi-year financial models to quantify the impact of strategic decisions on the P&L.
  • Create financial business cases to support various initiatives.
  • Manage the socialization and submission of the budget and technology work plan.
  • Produce senior management presentations to inform strategic direction.
  • Collaborate closely with Analytics and Finance groups, including Planning and Analysis, CCAR Forecasting, and Investment Valuation teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related subject.
  • 2+ years of experience in Finance, Planning & Analysis or Accounting/Controller roles.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to explain complex issues clearly.
  • Proven track record delivering special projects with limited lead time or information.
  • Team-oriented with a reputation as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and Planning & Analysis teams.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle large data sets and present concise conclusions.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Curious, diligent, proactive, and capable of challenging peers constructively.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience creating ad hoc reporting for senior management.

Job Description

  • Join the Consumer and Community Banking, Chase Branded Cards CFO Team to increase profitability and efficiencies for the Sapphire portfolio.
  • As an Associate in the Chase Branded Cards CFO team, you will partner across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, budgeting, forecasting, and a wide range of activities including financial control, analysis of financial and business metrics, periodic management reporting, and advising line of business CFOs and partners on profitability improvements. You will collaborate closely with key finance teams and business partners.

  • Financial Services experience.
