Financial Analyst

Brookfield Properties is hiring a Financial Analyst to support business planning, investment valuation, and reporting for BGRE in Atlanta, Georgia. This onsite role contributes to financial modeling, continual process improvement, and the preparation of materials used in operational meetings and internal review cycles.

What you’ll do

• Support annual business plan preparation and quarterly reforecasts, including investment plan review, assessing the impact of changes to return metrics, and conducting detailed analysis of current strategy.
• Perform variance analysis to support underwriting and decision-making.
• Review, document, and consolidate investment valuations while ensuring calculations align with internal policies.
• Partner with the internal capital markets team throughout the debt financing process.
• Produce and manage financial models used to calculate current and projected performance.
• Prepare monthly operations meeting materials.
• Maintain and update Argus files covering leasing, operating, and market assumptions and related metrics.
• Maintain development reporting at the project level.
• Work closely with property and corporate accounting teams to help ensure accuracy and adherence to reporting timelines.
• Develop and refresh presentations for both internal and external audiences.
• Handle additional ad hoc requests as assigned.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or an applicable field.
• Up to three years of experience in corporate finance, a Fortune 100 company, a large real estate investment company, or a public REIT.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong knowledge and demonstrated competence working with large data sets.
• Argus Enterprise experience is a plus.
• Ability to understand and compile basic proforma financial statements.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Strong multi-tasking ability and time management to meet multiple deadlines.
