Job Description
The Financial Analyst supports Rocket Companies’ Bedrock Investments team by performing financial analysis, reporting, research, modeling, and project-based work. This onsite role partners with internal stakeholders to evaluate investment opportunities, assess performance, and inform strategic decision-making.
Role Overview
The Financial Analyst reports to the Investments Leadership Team and contributes to analyses and deliverables across Bedrock’s Investments organization. Responsibilities include modeling and forecasting, evaluating property and portfolio performance, supporting transaction research and underwriting, and preparing presentations and materials for leadership and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial and operational analyses to support business decisions, projects, and strategic initiatives.
- Develop, maintain, and update financial models, forecasts, budgets, and related analytical tools.
- Analyze property, portfolio, project, and investment performance to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support underwriting, due diligence, market research, and financial evaluations for transactions and business initiatives.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and supporting materials for leadership, stakeholders, and business partners.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret financial, operational, and market data to support recommendations.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to collect information, validate assumptions, and evaluate business opportunities.
- Monitor and report on financial and operational performance metrics.
- Support transactions, projects, and portfolio-related activities as assigned.
- Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives across the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in commercial real estate financial analysis, preferably supporting acquisitions, dispositions, capital markets, public finance, or related areas.
- Experience analyzing financial and operational data and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Experience developing or using financial models, forecasts, budgets, or reporting tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting and analysis tools.
- Experience preparing reports, presentations, and business recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications & Systems
- Experience with Yardi, Argus, Power BI, or similar systems (preferred).

Work Environment
Bedrock operates as an in-person, five-day-a-week workplace. Team members are expected to work on site Monday through Friday during standard business hours unless otherwise specified by their role or designated shift. Some roles may have flexibility to work remotely on Fridays based on the nature of the work and business needs, at the Company’s discretion and subject to change.
The role includes prolonged periods of sitting and computer use, occasional movement between buildings, and occasional ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
