Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst II/III role in Knoxville, TN with a hybrid work arrangement, supporting FP&A and financial decision-making across the finance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Monthly Operating Review (MOR) process, delivering analysis and recommendations to leadership
• Complete month-end reporting and variance analysis, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities
• Evaluate margin drivers and key business performance metrics to support operational and financial decisions
• Build and maintain financial models including forecasts, budgets, and pro forma analyses for strategic initiatives
• Partner with operational and business leaders to provide financial guidance aligned to organizational goals
• Provide insights designed to improve forecasting accuracy and overall financial performance
• Support annual budgeting, long-range planning, and ongoing forecasting activities
• Present financial findings and recommendations to both finance and business stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Approximately 4-6+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or a related finance function
• Experience with Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs)
• Proficiency in month-end variance analysis
• Experience with margin and profitability analysis
• Experience in financial modeling and pro forma development
• Knowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build and maintain complex financial models
• Direct partnership experience with business units and operational leaders is highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an embedded FP&A capacity supporting business functions, including:
  • Operations
  • Supply Chain
  • Human Resources
  • Regional or Divisional Business Units
• Healthcare finance experience is a plus (not required)
• Experience working in a large, complex corporate environment

Compensation: USD 95,000 - 110,000 per year
