Financial Analyst II

Texas Children’s Hospital is seeking a Financial Analyst II in The Woodlands, TX 77384 (onsite) to support leadership with timely, actionable financial insights. In this role, you’ll help drive operational decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and projecting financial and statistical information against measurable targets, turning data into clear reporting for budget preparation, model support, and special projects.

What you’ll do

• Prepare financial and statistical reports, monitoring trends and variances to support performance tracking.
• Create reports that explain differences between current actual results, budgeted targets, and prior year actual results.
• Develop and deliver ad hoc financial analyses as requested.
• Produce and maintain existing monthly financial and statistical reporting.
• Develop new reports and analyses to improve visibility into financial performance.
• Support Sr. Analyst(s) by compiling data and assisting with report preparation.
• Assist with financial model preparation, including preparing the analysis needed for model development.
• Coordinate with operational departments to develop inputs for the model.
• Manage and manipulate data to maintain financial models.
• Help prepare the operating budget, including analysis required for budget preparation and completion.
• Work with departmental leaders to support the completion of departmental operating budgets.
• Manage and manipulate data to complete the operating budget and produce/distribute budget reports and documentation.
• Complete special projects as required by the supervisor.

What you bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or a related business field.
• 3 years of experience in finance or accounting.
